How does Hemp Way Foods contribute to a healthier future?

At Hemp Way Foods, our recipes center around wholesome ingredients to nourish the body. Ancient cultures believed food is medicine and fuel for the human body. In recent years we’ve deviated from this philosophy, and the quality of our food reflects our current state of health. Our Founder, Carla Boyd, poured years of her life into each of her recipes, to provide the foundation for hemp-derived foods which not only deliver “more nutrition per bite,” but they actually taste great too!

From Carla’s kitchen to yours, the nutritious benefits speak for itself. Every 4-ounce serving supplies us with 10 grams of bioavailable protein, 8 grams of fiber, is 70% manganese, 20% Iron, 25% phosphorus, to name just a few benefits. Add on top of that the monounsaturated and polyunsaturated “good” fats, packed with Omega-3, -6, and -9 Essential Fatty Acids (EFAs), and vitamins and nutrients too many to list, and you’ll see why you should just try it!

Once you do, you’ll see why Hemp Way Foods became widely-acclaimed in the health food industry as far back as 2015, being featured in publications such as the Denver Post and The Hemp Connoisseur Magazine, as well as having earned numerous accolades for taste, winning challenges such as “Best Colorado Hemp Food” in 2016, 2018, and 2019.

The Burger Patty and Crumble products are convenient options to be incorporated into a number of recipes. Whether it be Taco Tuesday, nachos before the big game, or Family Stroganoff Night, Hemp Way Foods is here to show us that “less is more”: we deliver LESS trans fat, saturated fat, and calories per serving compared with the “other guys.”

Regardless of whether Carla's Hemp Burger wins the taste test challenge, at the conclusion participants will receive nutritional guidance comparing the products at a granular level, based on a multitude of nutritional metrics. The Seeds of Change Accelerator will provide a pathway for hemp to gain the spotlight it needs to enter a new era of food education and awareness.
